What will we do?

In a mindful way we will identify the thoughts, feelings, physical sensations, and behaviors that help and hinder you from achieving the life you want. Within a comfortable, supportive environment I will use an integrative approach focusing on your strengths and values. My practice is fully client directed utilizing a brain-body perspective. This technique is based on my experience that all individuals know intrinsically what is best for them. You outline the results that you are looking for and we will work together to reach your long term goals. My practice is completely confidential.

How will we work together?

I normally conduct an initial evaluation that will last from 2 to 4 sessions. During this time, we can determine if I am the best person to provide the services you need in order to meet your treatment goals.

Appointments are 60 minutes.
Teletherapy appointments

How much do you charge?

$250 per session
Payment should be given at the time of each visit.

Accepted Payment Methods:
Cash, Zelle, Personal Checks,
Health Savings Account, MasterCard, & Visa

Do you accept insurance?
I am an out-of-network provider. This means that I will give you a receipt that has all the necessary coding in order for you to receive reimbursement from your insurance company. If you prefer, I am able to submit the out-of-network claim on your behalf as well.

To see if your insurance covers my services in part or in full, please contact your healthcare company and ask the following questions:

Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
What is my deductible and has it been met?
How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover? (In most cases you should have unlimited sessions.)
What is the coverage amount per therapy session and do I have a copay/coinsurance?
Is approval required from my primary care physician?
Can I see an out of network LCSW mental health provider?

If you have questions regarding insurance or out of network reimbursement, please call me to discuss further.

What is your cancellation policy?

Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged a flat fee of $80.

What is your Confidentiality & Privacy Policy?

The law protects the relationship between a client and psychotherapist, and information cannot be disclosed without written permission.

Exceptions include:
• Suspected child abuse or dependent adult or elder abuse, which I am required by law to report to the appropriate authorities immediately.
• If a client threatens serious bodily harm to another person/s, I must notify the police and inform the intended victim.
• If a client intends to harm themselves, I will make every effort to enlist their cooperation in ensuring their safety. If they do not cooperate, I will take further measures without their permission. These measures are provided to me by law in order to ensure their safety.

Is there anything I should do before we meet for the first time?

If you are a new client, please print and complete the following Intake Form and sign Confidentiality, Cancellation, & HIPAA forms to bring with you to our first session. Take your time to thoughtfully answer the questions, as this can be a good way to take inventory around the various parts of your life and frame issues you want to bring in to therapy.
